Franck „Zest“ Noto was born in 1980 in Montpellier. He grew up in a family of artists and discovered graffiti at the age of eight. In 1995 he had his first attempt at graffiti. From then on he began to spray and experienced graffiti as a form of expression. In the early 2000s, Zest began painting huge frescoes on the walls of European cities and in New York with the Montpellier-based graffiti artist crew TDM. His figurative style has given way to a contemporary, abstract and cubist art movement and explores harmonies between shape and color with passion. His artistic works convey and reflect the accumulation of his experiences as an active member of the graffiti world in a contemporary way.
Zest’s artistic signature can also be found on numerous murals around the world such as: Toulouse, Montpellier, St. Tropez, Bordeau, Buenos Aires, Las Vegas and Zaragoza. In September 2014, Zest worked on the customization of TOG furniture by Philippe Starck. In cooperation with Stadtwerke Heidelberg and the cultural exchange of the twin city Montpellier, ZEST painted a wall in 2017 as part of METROPOLINK.
