The young Georgian artist Salome Rigvava already found many admirers at her exhibition in 2015 in WilliBender’s WOW Gallery and comes from Fine Art. Salome is currently studying MFA at the New York Academy of Art and graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts in 2014 with a full scholarship Stuttgart from Professor Holger Bunk.
Salome Rigvava often focuses on a strong cultural symbol and explores its characters deeply in a personal way. The figures are often women who, to varying degrees, are aware that they are being painted. The tones are soft and pretty, but can take on an oversaturated and dark quality that adds psychology.
She painted a wall in St. Leon-Rot for METROPOLINK 2017.
